Dinan, Place des Cordeliers

This is actually a small square, with a narrow street leading away from it. The area appears to be a modest commercial district.

Notice the three arcaded buildings in the center. They were obviously built at different times, but there was enough cooperation over the years to join up this arcade.

Notice the four wires that hang from a crude bracket on the side of the corner building. Notice also the sign on the same building. While large, it does not jut into the street. It looks to be a gilt sign, painted by a skilled sign painter.

The other bracket on the right competes with the church steeple for attention.
