Privacy Policy does not set cookies on the computers of people using the site. At least, that was the intention, as there is no need for or use of cookies. However, I have found a cookie set on my own machine, which I do not understand. It is possible that my host is setting cookies by default. I will try to get to the bottom of this soon.

Certain data, essential to serving pages to users, is collected. This data is stored in traffic logs for later analysis. Typically it would not be possible to discern who a user was from this data, although those surfing from fixed IPs and not using a shared connection might be identified by an examination of logs. Occasional in-depth traffic analysis is conducted, but these analyses are not intended to reveal the identities of individual users, nor is this data used for any purpose other than studying sufing behavior as a way of understanding the needs of users. None of this data is shared with any third party except that overall traffic figures are occasionally given to publishers interested in knowing how many views a particular page may receive. The data provided is never more specific than so-many-page-views over a given period of time.

The annual statement of ownership gives rough values for total gigabytes served and total annual page views.

The e-mail notification list for Carfree Times is not shared with any third party.

If you have questions or concerns, please send e-mail.
