Genoa, Hotel de la Ville

These buildings are right at the top of the range that is feasible for buildings without elevators, and it would be quite a climb to the top floor.

Notice the variation in the dimensions of the arches. The large four-arch building has two different arch widths, although all four are the same height. Other buildings have only two arches, usually the same, but one building has one large arch and one small.

It appears that there are no buildings on the other side of the street, except for the one casting the foreground shadow. Does anyone know more about this area? Does it front on the harbor?
