Antwerp, Theatre Royal Français

Now known as the Bourla Theater, this once the cultural center of Francophone Antwerp.

There is evidently quite a lot of traffic through this square, and the sidewalks are kept to modest proportions, so we can safely assume that this space is more circulation real than social space.

This building was once targeted for conversion to a parking lot. Fortunately, funds were found to restore it instead.

Notice that the comparatively few overhead wires still detract noticeably from the scene, and that the large rack of insulators on the roof destroy the silhouette of one of the statues.
